Welcome to the Disability Employee Resource Group!
Who We Are
The Disability Employee Resource Group is an ERG for disabled employees, including staff and faculty. Examples of disabilities include, but are not limited to:
- Physical disabilities (e.g., mobility impairments, chronic pain, limb differences)
- Neurodivergence and cognitive/intellectual disabilities
- Non-visible, invisible, and undiagnosed disabilities
- Psychiatric and mental health conditions (e.g., anxiety, depression, bipolar)
- Sensory disabilities (e.g., blindness, deafness, audio processing issues)
Nondisabled allies are also welcome, but we ask that the needs and voices of members with lived experience of disability be centered and respected.
While we cannot guarantee confidentiality during meetings, we ask that any personal information shared by attendees stay within the meeting space unless otherwise clearly specified by the person sharing.
